Seeing “Windows protected your PC”? That is completely normal.
Installed via direct download (.exe)? When you run the Windows installer, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” window. Do not be alarmed — this is not a virus detection. It is a standard warning that Windows shows for newer apps it has not seen downloaded often enough yet, and Formatif is still a young app building that reputation.
To continue, click More info and then Run anyway. The installer will then open as usual.
